School Orchestra Chascomús by teaching music and orchestral practice, it proposed the integration of children, adolescents and young people living in different socio-economic situations, favoring the participation of children and adolescents in poverty.

Starting their activities with 30 students, now has 391 (the city has 30,000 inhabitants), and have gone through it, in its 10 years of existence, more than 1,000 students. Many of these students are now teachers at the School Orchestra, others have joined national orchestras and in all has impacted their personal, family and social life.
The orchestra has been formed as a national reference point, assisting the formation and strengthening of Child and Youth Orchestras different oriented social work throughout the country.
It should be noted that in addition to having made numerous presentations and published CDs, has received numerous awards for his cultural background and community development.
