Promising Practices

The classification “promising practice” denotes those practices that have been assessed as:
  • Covering relevant thematic areas
  • Having the basic elements of the minimum criteria
  • Showing good potential
      but
  • Not existing for long enough for meaningful assessment – usually less than two years
When submitted for UN-Habitat Awards, practices assessed as promising are provided substantive feedback, and encouraged to apply in the following cycle.
