UN-HABITAT Disaster Management programme helps governments and local authorities rebuild in countries recovering from war or natural disasters. UN-HABITAT had set up land coordination groups in North Kivu Province and in Ituri District (Province Oriental). Under the leadership of the Minister of Land Affairs of North Kivu and the Land Commission of Ituri, the land coordination groups are seeking to consolidate and harmonise land reform and policies for each province.
