Dialogues

The daily dialogues were the main focus of the Third Session of the World Urban Forum. An array of high profile participants included city mayors, government ministers, leading academics and globally renowned experts on urban problems, as well as representatives of slum dweller associations, and financial specialists. The Vancouver dialogues in 2006 were focused on three key areas: urban growth and the environment, partnership and finance, and social inclusion and cohesion. They were designed so that each meeting could examine at least two related topics.
