Using a recently-produced guide entitled Localizing the Millennium Development Goals, A guide for Municipalities and Local Partners”, and based on experience from a number of cities who are implementing a project on localizing the MDGs; the training will take participants through a four-step process to translate the global MDGs into locally relevant targets and indicators. In addition, the course will to translate the information gathered into participatory action plans, including monitoring and evaluate programme
