A logo competition for the Initiative, instigated in partnership with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, resulted in a winner after much deliberation, thanks to jury members David Fortin from Montana State University, Fiona Jack from University of Auckland and Victor Mgendi and Jane Nyakairu from UN-HABITAT. The winner, Andrew M. Wee, of the Philippines, received his degree in architecture two years ago and is currently working as a designer in an architectural firm while doing freelance work in graphic design. The jury, whose decision is final, selected his idea shown here as being the most appropriate. The Habitat Partner University Initiative would like to thank the 32 competitors, all of whom came up with interesting ideas.
