UN-HABITAT’s Executive Director on Friday formally opened a new wing of Nairobi Hospital. “It is important as we walk through this magnificent health facility, that we keep in mind the fact that Member States of the United Nations in 2005 endorsed a resolution calling on all countries to develop health financing systems which ensure that people have access to health care without risking financial ruin and impoverishment,” she said in a speech marking the occasion. |
