Why not rest your feet in the United Nations pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo and try a cup of Chinese tea! This weekend, the China Tea Association launched its exhibition of ten famous Expo teas and formally took its place in the United Nations pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo. With a history of 5,000 years of tea drinking, China is the birthplace of the world's tea culture. The China Tea Association is supporting the UN Pavilion at the World Expo and delights weary visitors with a choice of famous teas to sample. Based on the concept of "One Earth, One UN, one cup of Chinese tea," the Association advocates the drinking of tea for increased health and harmony. Each tea is presented with the traditional tea-pouring ceremony that accompanies it. The teas on offer in the United Nations pavilion today were Wuyi Rock Tea, Anxi Tieguanyin, Fuding white tea, Hunan black tea, Tianmuhu white tea, Zhang yiyuan flower tea and other traditional Chinese tea. |
