New French envoy to UN-HABITAT

The new permanent representative to UN-HABITAT from France, Ms. Elisabeth Barbier, presented her credentials to the Executive Director, Mrs. Anna Tibaijuka, on 23 November, 2006. Ms. Barbier said she would seek stronger French support for the agency.
New Tanzanian and Ethiopian envoys to UN-HABITAT

Two new permanent representatives to UN-HABITAT from Ethiopia and Tanzania last week presented their credentials to the Executive Director, Mrs. Anna Tibaijuka. They are Tanzania’s Deputy High Commissioner to Kenya, Ms. Mary Issa Mushi, and Mr. Disasa Dirribsa, the Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya.
